Classic Vietnamese restaurant serving authentic noodles outside of the classic Pho dish. Get the extra pork bone on the side and Chinese donuts!

A great option for a huu tieu spot. There are usually seatings available, even at high peak times. Service is quick; one of the few Asian spots that actually will come and check on you if food is good and to make sure everything needed is on the table. There are other options than huu tieu if you're not in the mood. I love that they have pickled garlic and jalapeños on the table.

The Hu tieu tastes as close to my mama's because of the sauce. I get the hu tieu dai, dry with soup on the side. Add an order of the Chinese donut and it's perfection. I love the chewy clear noodles and there's just enough proteins in it. I also love that they add the crispy fat from the pork as a topping, all in the details! Would totally recommend! I'll come back any time I miss my mama's hu tieu.

Well that was delicious. I would have never ventured to this side of Bellaire had my Vietnamese friend from St Louis of all places not invited me. To tell you the truth, I have spent time at place across the street and Houston if you haven't been over here you are missing out. Flavors were amazing. I was informed this dish was created by the Vietnamese living in Cambodia so it's a mix of the two nations. My Vietnamese friend (from Vietnam) told me that in order to be authentic the dish has to have all the components listed. She also said to get the dry because it comes with a broth, kind of like the Japanese ramen dipping noodles (tsukumen). I followed her orders and the food was fresh, well seasoned, and I cannot wait to go back. I was the only non Vietnamese person in there by the way which is a good sign.

My absolute favorite place in Houston for Hu Tieu! The broth is perfect the way it is... light but full of flavor. Plenty of fresh green vegetables and the toppings for the Hu Tieu are so delicious. I like getting the wide egg noodles. Both dry and soup versions of the Hu Tieu are great but I personally prefer the dry version because of the sauce they make for the noodles. The fried breadsticks here are amazing as well... dip them into the broth and prepare to be blown away by the flavors!

Different style than phanh ky, but still so good! Broth was flavorful but not too salty. The ingredients to the hu tieu were fresh and tasted clean. Service was quick. Restaurant looked semi run down, but not dirty. Will definitely be back

Yummy noodles and a hot soup for a cold day. Always love the way they prepare the dry noodles that comes separately from the pork bones soup. Highly recommended!

Go to place for hu tieu! Their broth is so flavorful and the organ meats they use are always fresh tasting! I love it both dry or as soup noodles. For soup noodles, can't go wrong with the thin egg noodle option. For dry noodle, I would recommend the clear noodle or mix of clear and thin egg noodle! I also always load mine up with the garlic and pickled chilis they have on the table. The meal is so easy to inhale hence why so many reviews mention the small portion. If you're ordering hu tieu dry, I would suggest getting a large. As soup noodles, I think small is just enough! Get the fried bread sticks! So good for dipping in that flavorful broth.
